The pandemic shone a light on the wide and damaging inequalities in society, and placemaking at its best should tackle the causes of this inequality. Local government leaders need to focus on the unique challenges they face in their region, and find creative and innovative solutions. LGC Future Places will bring together thought leaders in placemaking from across the local government sector and associated professions to showcase examples of success and innovation and discuss how to take placemaking to the next level.

Returning to an in-person event, and with a packed and comprehensive agenda, this will be a superb learning and networking opportunity for anyone tasked with designing and delivering engaging, safe, resilient and sustainable places and communities.
